With this self drive vacation you can plan your own itinerary and select your overnight stops. Start your travels in either Shannon or Dublin ,Edinburgh or Glasgow
when you pick up a current model car of your choice with unlimited mileage. We supply you with vouchers for each overnight stay, accommodation directories, a road map and a guide book with suggested itineraries and information on Ireland.
Choose from two accommodation options: B & Bs (farmhouses and town & country homes) or first class hotels. With either selection you can be assured of top quality lodgings and excellent value for money. If you wish we will prebook your first night near Shannon Edinburgh or Glasgow (this must be requested at time of booking only) and the balance of your stay is on an open voucher basis to allow maximum flexibility in your vacation.

B & Bs - Homestays
This program is designed for those of you who wish to discover the Irish or Scottish countryside and sample country living. You can choose from over 2,200 private homes located in every part of Ireland and Scotland. Over 1,600 are members of the Town & Country Homes Association and 600 are with the Irish Farmhouse Holidays Association. Some houses date back a century or more while others are modern. All residences are inspected regularly to ensure good standards of comfort and hygiene. The limited number of Dublin homes on this program are frequently booked out so you may need to upgrade to hotels in the capital city. You will receive two listings, one for each association, with information on where your vouchers will be accepted. Your prepaid voucher includes a room with private bathroom facilities and a full Irish breakfast.
You may use a B & B voucher to upgrade to any hotel . You will receive a hotel directory which lists these supplements with your travel documents. Simply present a homestay voucher to any participating hotel and pay the upgrade supplement indicated in the hotel listing when you check in.
Hotels
We feature over 200 hotels strategically located all around Ireland and Scotland so that you can plan a touring vacation or stay for a while in one location. We have put together a selection of properties including a variety of old-world country inns and modern hotels. All hotels feature a restaurant, bar, lounge facilities and many have leisure centers. Guestrooms have private bath or shower, TV, hair-dryer and other comforts. Full breakfast is included each morning.
All hotels are routinely checked to ensure excellent standards of facilities, food and service. The directory that you will receive with your final documents includes details about each hotel. Rates in this program are based on first class hotels but you may upgrade to a selection of superior and deluxe properties — the supplements are listed in the hotel directory and should be paid to the hotel on arrival. If you wish, we will reserve the first night at time of booking and then you simply call ahead as you travel through Ireland. If you would like to sample a B & B for a night or two, you may use the hotel voucher at any home featured in the B & B listings which will be included with your documents.
Deluxe & Castle Hotel Stays
Experience the luxury of an Irish castle hotel... Ashford, Dromoland or Kilkea Castles. Once in Ireland, upgrade to many famous and breathtaking hotels by paying the supplementary charges listed in your hotel directory. If you prefer to prebook these deluxe hotels before leaving the United States.The Scottish Castle Hotel stays are different and are not listed at this time.
Shannon Castle Banquets & Ceili
Begin or end your tour in the Shannon region with a banquet at Bunratty, Knappogue or Dunguaire Castles, which offer an excellent meal and entertainment in an authentic 15th century stronghold. Or enjoy a folk get-together at the Shannon Ceili for a banquet.The Scottish Castle Hotel stays are different and are not listed at this time.

Sellers must display or carry with them the terms of the raffle.

Clan Cian Trip Raffle - Arrangements provided by Travel Management Inc. (TMI)
Approx. retail value of total grand prize package is $2,300. Hotel sales tax, VAT and service charges are included; all other expenses (including, but not limited to, transportation to and from the airports, other food and beverages and all airport and other taxes) are winner's sole responsibility.
Travel arrangements must be made within one (1) year of the drawing. No travel during peak holiday time and other select blackout dates. Hotel and airline reservations must be made at least sixty (60) days in advance of travel dates. Certain other travel restrictions may apply.
The winner chooses between an Ireland or Scotland itinerary (round trip) originating from Seattle.

Valid for travel dates are as follows.

September 15 2004 through Dec 31, 2004
Jan 2005 through 31 March 2005
Ticket sales will start on 15 March 2003.
Drawing will be Saturday, 13 March 2004.
Ticket holders do not need to be present to win.
Ticket holder should neatly print name and phone contact on backside of ticket (mailing address and e-mail optional).
If the information is unreadable another ticket will be drawn.
Winner will be posted on the Clan Cian website:

If winner fails to respond within 30 days of drawing, another winner will be drawn.
Sellers and distributors are responsible for accurate accounting of their tickets and money.
All voided tickets must be noted on the tally sheet along with the reason. Do not destroy voided tickets.
Clan Cian reserves the right to change trip details at anytime because of unavailability
Sellers and distributors not in the local Seattle area must mail in $ and tickets no later than 1 March 2004 to John Navin.
Sellers and distributors in the Seattle area can turn in $ and tickets in person no later than 12 March 2004 to John Navin.
Tickets will be for sale at the Seattle St. Patrick's Day Parade and events on Saturday, 13 March 2004 until noon.
Sellers should send in $ or tickets stubs (including any voided tickets) by the 17th of each month during the selling period to:
